As a specialist kicking coach it is a goal of mine to develop kickers to become more Compact in the way they kick. Specifically in the execution phase of the routine. We would all agree that some of the traits that distinguish a skilful kicker from the rest are: they appear smooth, they don’t kick too hard and they appear rather deliberate with their approach.

Better kickers have a well developed system and process!
